Welcome Blooming Learners
My name is Ms. Brooks and I have been teaching Pre-k for 5 years. I am so excited to have your child in my class and grow their educational knowledge. My Blooming Learners website is to help foster a collaborative environment where families are empowered to actively participate in their child's education. I believe that informed and engaged parents are key to a child's academic success and overall well-being.
My Vision & Philosophy
I believe students should have a safe and welcoming environment to further their education. I love using play based learning and hands on methods when teaching young learners. I provide comprehensive resources and insights designed to help families better understand and engage with their student's learning journey. My goal is to bridge the gap between home and school, creating a supportive network for every child in Loganville, Georgia.

Ways To Communicate
Class Dojo
Our school allows us to use a dedicated app to provide updates and any important information to parents throughout the day. This is where you'll receive pictures, lunch menu for the week, a digital copy of my monthly newsletter and other important details. You will also be able to monitor your child's progress in the app. I will add educational goals for the month so students are able to practice at home with your support!
Monthly Newsletter
Each month your child will bring home a monthly newsletter in their folder. This newsletter will list any events, birthdays in the class, and other information that I need to communicate. There will be a copy of this on Class Dojo. Use this to stay informed on upcoming events or important tests in the classroom.
Emails
Understand the school curriculum better with detailed explanations and tips for supporting your child's studies.
Scheduling Calls or in Person Conferences
I typically respond to emails within 24-48 hours. We have a very busy school day and I prioritize my time before school begins and after school to respond to emails and schedule any meetings. I prefer communicating via email or using our Class Dojo. If you'd like to schedule a phone meeting or conference,, please email me with a few dates that best fit your families schedule and I will get back with you.

This website is great for parents to find free worksheets for their child to practice at home! Use our class newsletter to see what we're focused on and this will provide extra support for the students.
This website consist of free educational games and some that require payment. There's also printable and it is organized by subject to help parents find the skills were learning in class.

This resource consist of videos and interacting games that align with state and national standards. This is something the students could engage with independently if care takers are busy with other tasks.

This is a website where students can complete educational games. It does give a 30 day free trial to see if you like it. This resource covers math, science, reading, art and music.

Provides information for parents to help students learning continue at home. There's science activities and assessment sheets for them to use at home.
